As of Nov. 4, 2024, all qualifying Brighton Passholders and Ski School Camp participants have been emailed 24/25 season parking codes. If you have not received your code, please reach out.
2024/25 Policies
Winter Parking
Limited parking inventory will be released for the entire season on Nov. 8 at 8am MST. This is mainly intended for guests traveling from out of town or with set vacation plans. As Brighton Passholders and likely to visit often, we recommend holding out for our weekly, and daily releases throughout the season. This way, Passholders won’t use up their free parking reservations for later dates and can enjoy plenty of December days on the mountain.
All vehicles must have a reservation on all Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and holidays prior to 12pm. Parking reservations are required:
- All Fridays/Saturdays/Sundays
- Daily, December 21 through January 5
- Monday, January 20
- Monday, February 17
The parking lot is closed from 12am - 7am daily to ensure proper lot grooming.
- Parking reservations are required in the main lot, along all snow ramps and any additional parking around the loop.
- The Brighton Store parking lot is reserved for employees only during the winter season. If overflow parking is needed, please wait to be instructed by a Brighton or Interstate attendant before parking at the Brighton Store. Otherwise, guests parking in the employee lot recieve a violation fee.
Parking reservations are held through your license plate.
- Up to 2 plates can be stored per guest profile.
- A max of 5 reservations per plate are allowed at one time.
- If you need to update your plate, please do so through your Reserve 'N Ski profile prior to parking at the resort
Reservations are verified via license plate once you park to ensure we don’t reduce the flow of traffic – no need to stop at a kiosk!
If you need to make more than 5 reservations tied to a single plate, we recommend adding "UT' or "UTAH" at the end of your plate number allowing you to make more than 5 reservations under one plate.
- Qualifying Brighton Season Passholders park free via your reusable parking code, any time your pass is valid, but reservations are still required.
- Passholder parking perks apply to all Unlimited, Base & Midweek Passholders ages *16+.
- Qualifying Brighton Passholders can hold up to two free parking reservations at a time. Parking codes become reusable once your current reservation day has passed.
- Ex: You make a reservation for Dec 14. When the day ends, the code used for your Dec 14 reservation can now be made for a new date.
- Additional carpool or paid reservations can still be made (max 5 reservations per license plate/account).
- Brighton Season Passholders ages 18+ receive reusable parking vouchers to use throughout the season via email. These vouchers will take your reservation cost down to $0.
- * Passholders between the ages of 16 and 17 will need to provide proof of a valid driver’s license to obtain a parking code for the 24/25 season.
- A separate inventory pool is allocated for Brighton Season Passholders only.
- No Shows: Continuous failure to cancel a Brighton Passholder parking reservation prior to 7am day of, may result in the pausing of free parking reservation benefits.
Parking reservations are required Fri - Sun & holidays, however, students qualify for discounted parking!
If your camp or lesson falls on a day in which reservations are required, you will receive a parking code via email.
There is currently no way to make a reservation for an ADA or Handicap parking space. If you require ADA compliant parking, please make your parking reservation through your applicable channel (Passholder, Carpool, Paid, etc), but please note that ADA spaces are still filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
As we cannot guarantee ADA spaces through our reservation system, we have added additional ADA & Handicap spaces in front of the Brighton Center and Milly Chalet.
Carpool reservations are for vehicles with 4+ passengers and qualify for a discounted parking rate. Oversized vehicles do not qualify for discounted carpool reservations.
Oversized Vehicles:
- Vans: Panel, Sprinter, Camper
- Trucks: 4-Door Standard Longbed (7'), Longbed (8')
- Misc: Vehicles towing a trailer, equipment, etc.
Vehicles large enough to take up more than 1 parking spot may be subject to an additional parking fee.
- Parking without a reservation during reservation required days/hours results in a violation fee or paused free passholder parking benefits.
- Parking between the hours of 12am and 7am may result in pausing of benefits or a violation fee.
- Reservations are non-refundable but can be cancelled until 7am morning of.
- Failure to cancel free Brighton Passholder reservations may result in the pausing of future reservation benefits.
- Exceptions can be made for illnesses or emergencies on a case-by-case basis.
All refund requests, citation appeals, etc will be handled directly through Reserve N' Ski. Brighton Guest Services cannot process any refunds or appeals.
If the canyon closes due to weather, refunds are automatically issued and you will not be penalized for a no-show.
Overnight parking is not allowed. All cars must be moved out of the lot by 12am or your vehicle may be ticketed or even towed.
Yes, but lodge guests park free. Your car will be registered with the front desk of the Brighton Lodge upon check in.
Go ahead and proceed with making your parking reservation and simply input your own license plate. Once you have your rental car, log back in to Reserve 'N Ski account and select "Manage Reservations." From here, you can update the license plate on your existing reservation(s).

Plan ahead by checking out the traffic dashboard, the UDOT traffic cameras, digital signs and road weather forecasts.
UTA SKI BUS
Taking the Ski Bus helps reduce canyon traffic, environmental impact and the stress of your commute. If your vehicle is not in accordance with canyon traction requirements, this is also a great option for you and your ski crew. You can even ride free with a Season Pass! The service will run all day, with 30-minute frequency during peak hours, at multiple locations around the valley. Double check the bus schedule before planning your day, especially if you are coming up for Night Riding.
