FAQs

What is Worry-Free Winter Assurance?

  • The Worry-Free Winter Assurance has two basic parts:  First, we have you covered by providing a full ski season to you, our most loyal customer. If for any reason our season is shortened, we will provide a credit to you towards the next season's pass based on the percent that the season has been shortened.

The program will ensure you receive the value of a typical 150-day ski season at Brighton. The 150 day number is based on Brighton's 7-year season average.

If Brighton does not operate during the 20/21 season for the 150 days we promise, the passholder will receive the percentage of the season missed as a credit toward next season's purchase. For example: If Brighton only operates 135 days out of a 150 day season, passholders will receive a 10% credit toward the 21/22 season.

The next way we have you covered:  If you feel uncomfortable about skiing in this upcoming season, and have not used your 20/21 pass yet, you can choose to rollover the value of your pass to the 21/22 ski season by January 31, 2021. Anyone wanting to roll over their unused 20/21 pass to 21/22 must email winterassurance@brightonresort.com by Jan 31.

  • The resort considers an open day as any day it is offering guests skiable lift access during scheduled operating hours for the day.

  • The value of the credit will be based on the percentage of the 20/21 season the resort is not able to open for skiing.

  • If our season is shortened to less than 150 days, you will receive the percentage of lost days as a credit towards next seasons pass.

  • The program will provide a credit toward the purchase of any 21/22 season pass.

  • The value of any credit issued for your 20/21 pass could be applied to the purchase of any 21/22 season pass. You would be free to change the level of pass if desired. Credits would be non-transferable from the original 20/21 pass purchaser.

  • You will receive a resort gift card with the remaining balance.

  • This program is included at no additional cost with all season passes purchased by October 12, 2020, including passes purchased on our payment plans.

  • Yes. If the season is cancelled for a pandemic, war, terrorism, or a natural disaster, you will receive a 100% credit toward a 21/22 season pass.

  • In the event a passholder is restricted from travel due to a local stay-at-home order, that exceeds 30 days (prior to Jan 30th) when the resort is open, and the pass is unused, a credit for the full pass value will be available for the 21/22 season.

  • We've got you covered. All season passholders who elected the rollover prior to the deadline, whose passes are unused, will receive a credit for the full value of their pass which can be applied to a 21/22 season pass.

  • If for any reason a 20/21 passholders feel uncomfortable about skiing in the upcoming season they can choose to defer the value of their purchased 20/21 pass toward any single pass available for the 21/22 winter season by January 31, 2021. Your pass must not be used if you wish to roll it over to 21/22.

  • All season passes purchased prior to October 12, 2020 that have not been used during the 2020/21 season are eligible to receive a credit toward 21/22 before January 31, 2021. Promotional products, multi-day tickets, ticket packs, and employee passes are not eligible for this program. Anyone wanting to roll over their unused 20/21 credit to 21/22 pass must email winterassurance@brightonresort.com by Jan 31.
